Good evening everyone, team 4 back in for our last night. Apologies for the delay - things have been quite hectic for the last 24 hours. Great to see so much robust discussion about drink driving on yesterdays post. Trust me - police do not take lightly decisions that may result in someone reoffending, but at the same time we must act within the confines of the law. Its never easy and each situation is taken on its merits. But all else aside, getting the conversation ignited is great because what we dont want is people driving after a few drinks. So good on you all!! Overnight Im sorry to say we had two separate stabbings as a result of domestic disturbances overnight - Police have investigated these incidents and two people (one male and one female) have been charged with aggravated wounding relating to the two incidents. The victims are expected to fully recover and the charged persons will appear in court tomorrow. The weather is going to roll in again according to the Bureau of Meteorology (and hang around) so if youre out in it when it gets here please be safe. I will keep you updated with anything as it comes in overnight. Be safe.
