Good evening family, Ive been slacking a little bit recently but only because Mama has been enjoying writing the updates. But Im back in the saddle tonight with a good day to report. Grayson got his peg tube, which they had previously used to feed him and give him medicine sometimes, yanked out today (literally). It was both exciting and painful. That was the big event of the day, and it only took a few minutes, but it had quite the trickle down effect. He wasnt allowed to eat or drink anything for a better part of the day because of this procedure, and the docs think a combination of this and Graysons apprehension about his procedure led to an elevated blood pressure and pulse rate during his physical therapy. So they had to cut that short. But he was doing very well up until that point. When the time finally came this afternoon, the doctor said it was going to feel like Grayson had been kicked in the gut by a mule for about 5 minutes, and then he was going to be fine. So Grayson was a bit nervous, but he took his mule kick like a champion, and 5 minutes later he felt fine. Then he got to eat a big supper. So everything shaped up nicely today. Were looking forward to the weekend, as hes slated for some grueling physical therapy. But the harder they push him, the quicker he can come home. So were all for that!!
