Good evening friends. My friends (a group of 9 Wits Students) and I (making it a group of 10) have recently founded a non-profit organisation which concerns itself with the collection and distribution /donation of school shoes to primary school learners and we have set up a Facebook page [Black Sole] which we would like you to like and if you are keen to help out in whichever way possible, you are more than welcome. I must mention that we have recently begun with our project to impact lives. Thank you very kindly in advance. This is what we are on about : In order to achieve absolute educational reception, children must be equipped with basic needs that make them feel whole, as students. These basic needs include: food, a comfortable home, parental (or guardian) guidance, a full set of stationary and a full school uniform. All of these essentials place the child in a state of psychological satisfaction, making them ready for school. Without one of these needs, the child inadvertently splits their attention between school, and their condition of lack. Black Sole aims to fill this void. Black Sole is a permanent initiative that aims to provide school children, in impoverished circumstances, with school shoes. An initiative that aims to reinstall confidence within the child and revitalize a sense of hope and ambition, breaking the child out of the existential position of poverty. Black Sole partners with institutional sponsors and citizen donors to spread the effort of bettering the lives of our future leaders and guaranteeing their undivided efforts in their education
