Good evening progressive sons and daughters of Nimba, I am - TopicsExpress

Good evening progressive sons and daughters of Nimba, I am totally depressed by the information that the Nimba legislative Caucus called a press conference and declared VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE in the Superintendent of the County. The information beats my imagination and has brought me to the epicenter of despondency and bewilderment. At this time where there is a National Disaster, EBOLA is aggressively invading our mother land , our brother and sisters are being forcefully taken to the classic citadel of the great beyond, there we will see them no more until the end of age. The President made a brief statement yesterday which bespeaks that the country and its people are at a cross road, our professional colleagues especially medical practitioners including expatriates are dying on a daily basis . Is this not sufficient to alert us that we have a national issue? Moreover, Cases of EBOLA are now visible in Nimba which should be our collective concern now how to aggregate all the forces, be it logistical , financial , administrative , political professional and technical support to our County Heath Team to straighten its resolve to save life. Not to be discussing who goes out or in, we need everybody at this time. Currently, some our citizens are still languishing behind bars the issue of their well being has been over shadowed by the issued of EBOLA. I am told that County Administration has made some effort that has resulted into freeing of some of our compatriot who were wrongfully arrested and detained by the Liberian National Police, GOOD NEWS. I am also told that the County Administration and its partners are current intensifying the EBOLA awareness campaign in the county which is good to save our people’s lives. Let us all rise above personal benefits, pecuniary gains and parochial interest and raise the flag of the survivability of our people above all else because we are actors of today and our historical foot prints will be our judges tomorrow.
