Good find Cain, best Slip video there is. Of course it would have Martin Wick, the Slip legend. He took us down the UY once, think my third time on it. We were lucky enough to be there at the same time as him and somehow talked him into guiding us. It was actually bad because he knew the river too well and explained it in such detail that we had no idea what to do. Go center center left, then center right, but if you dont make that go far center right, then finish far right etc. He was in his tandem that he normally paddles solo down the Slip (his home run) with his chainsaw clearing wood. This day he had a female partner with him who knew the river as well . She realized what was going on and gave us summarys of Martins expert explanations, it was great. I heard he once tied a rope around his waist and had someone hold it while he dove down to retrieve a paddle that was lodged in an undercut on the Slip. #locallegend
