Good grief. So Margie and I went tracking today. We met at Chemeketa but decided it was way too busy to even attempt tracks so drove to Independence to use the schools there. Well that wasnt much better. What the hey! kids should be inside on their computers even on a 60 degree day in January!! Maestros track was cleaned up by a man picking up trash who refused to return the start article - I had to snatch it from the jaws of the trash picker upper thingy. Chucks track had one missing article and two that had been moved off the track. And who would have thought that we would worry about dogs being too warm in the vans?! This weather is really scary. I think Margie was regretting wearing her flannel lined jeans ;-) I was regretting not having a t shirt in my emergency clothing bag! Hoping for some good tracking weather next weekend. Have decided that if we are going to work urban/VST we definitely need to work on Sundays.
