Good grief! What a full weekend- finally home and all of the littles tucked into bed. Saturday I was blessed beyond belief to be able to attend a 40 yr vow renewal of my forever pastor Gary Mckeen and forever mentor- Sherry Ann Davis Mckeen. From the time I was a small rowdy country girl, to the day I married my best friend, to the days I have questions or prayer requests- they have been and still are there. The lessons they implanted in me will never be forgotten. The hot and difficult mission trips and months of preparation for them are priceless. The boldness they have instilled in me is still there. They taught me that just because I was a female didnt discount the impact I can have in the church and that I should rise up, use my voice and always be available to make a difference. They contributed to the hard headed-ness the rest of you see and have to deal with today. These two people are world changers. I know this because they changed my world. I love you two dearly. May the next 40 years be just as incredible as the past.
