Good luck to Matt Brown in his first race back since his crash almost 12 months ago, its an amazing effort. I remember watching Matt, Jake Hagopian and Liam Williams put on a driving clinic a few years ago in an oval express series with some of the best racing night after night and thought wow this is what I want to get into. Not only did they race each other extremely hard on the track and it came down to the last final on who would win the series but they were such good mates off it. At the time I was crewing on Grant Stansfield swift and we just had to sit back and watch them 3 dominate. I was so inspired and all I wanted was to get a car and be amongst that race at the front. 2 years later my dream had finally came true when Jye won me my first ever speedweek (once oval express) series round and Grant finished 3rd driving my cars..... This was the night of Matts crash. There were no celebrations or anything. Everyones thoughts were with what was happening in Perth over 3,000km away. It was extremely clear the impact Matt had on everyone over the years racing in Victoria by the way people reacted and the mood in the pits for the rest of that speedweek series. Everyone was effected by that crash and I know every single Victorian 500 driver will be wishing you all the best in your come back. For the majority of my friends on Facebook that actually arent into speedway and wouldnt know the story heres a clip of what happened. Good luck Matt
