Good luck to all those who will be getting their A level results today. For those who dont get the results they wanted please dont fret about it. It is definitely not the end of the world. I flopped my A levels big time, and lets just say it wasnt a happy time for me. I didnt get into my desired University, and I didnt get into my desired course. As many of you know, I am not one for believing in fate or any kind of crazy superstition, but Thank god I didnt get the results I wanted. If I did, I would have ended up studying Geology. Thankfully after some tears and amazing support from both my parents I somehow ended up studying a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia. From wanting to study Cleavages and Dikes (actual geological terms) I ended up building websites, studying graphic design, making short film features (in which during one feature we got pulled over my the arm response unit) and 3D animation. I had definitely MADE the right choice. 14 years later, I have a great job as a contractor building & designing websites for large known companies while getting paid descent pocket money. So please, dont worry if you didnt make the grade, with enough ambition and hard work you will find your calling, and you never know, you may end up doing something more exciting and fulfilling than you originally planned out :)
