Good morning Bristow Bears. Today is August 14th, 2013 Homework Club for 6th graders only begins this week! Mondays will be in room 49, Tuesdays in room 46, and Thursdays in room 50. Homework Club is from 3:05 – 4:00. There will be a flyer in your teacher’s room if you need to check. Do you like board games? Are you competitive? Did you know that they have photo contests where you can win prizes?? Last year, students won prizes such as extra lenses that you can add on to your iphones, itouches or cell phones! Barnes and Nobles is hosting our Book Fair on August 22nd. It’s from 9am to 9pm. Be sure to bring the green voucher so Bristow gets credit for your purchase. You can also shop online from August 22-27th using the Fair ID# 11136033. Are you an artist? Would you like to see your work displayed at the streets of Brentwood? If so then bring a piece of artwork to Mrs. Slay in room 21 by Monday August 19. Please make sure your art work is of high quality. No ripped edges or lined paper. Remember, the whole town will see it so make it your best work.
