Good morning CSBG! Happy Friday, hope its starting well! Dara and I have been talking and have decided that we are going to make a few changes starting next week, March 13, 2014. After intense study of the attendance over the last several months we have noticed that our twice a month attendance is not being met consistently by a handful of members. We have decided that it is our miss 5 weeks in a row clause that might be the culprit, so we are now making that 3. Once you miss 3 weeks in a row we will start considering categories to be open. That being said, we know life happens as does extenuating circumstances and we have no intention of punishing those who communicate with us (i.e. conferences, extended vacations, family emergencies, etc). Commitment to this group is key to helping all of our businesses grow, and we feel that attending once a month or less is not conducive to that nor is it fair to those who regularly attend. This lack of attendance has also been troublesome for our speaking schedule, more often than not lately people have not been attending on days they signed up to speak, and this is unfortunate for those who attend regularly as they may not have something ready on the fly but wouldve liked to have had the opportunity to be able to plan and prepare a presentation. Its a chance to promote our businesses and everyone deserves the chance to do so. Also, along with categories becoming open to potential new members at this time, the benefits of being a paying member will also be pulled, this includes: 1) removal of business cards from our binder 2) removal of future presentation days, opening them up for other members 3) loss of posting privileges to our facebook page about your products or services. Unfortunately, if you think it is too restrictive we are sorry for that, but in reality we are just going to start enforcing our come 2 times a month policy. See you all next week! Melissa and Dara
