Good morning FB friends it’s Wednesday, August 28, 2013. There will be many today celebrating the 50th Anniversary in which Martin Luther King gave his speech “I have a Dream.” Which is scripturally birthed out of Prov. 29:18a, “Where there is no vision [dream], the people perish...” God calls people to His Destiny Road Journey for specific purposes. Today’s title is “Answer the Call.” Our God-given calling is not to bring glory to us, but Glory to God! Let us meditate on the following passage given as our directive when we “Answer the Call.” ~ “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. For consider your calling, brethren, that there were not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble; but God has chosen the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to shame the things which are strong, and the base things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no man may boast before God. But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, “Let him who boasts, boast in the Lord.” ~~ So, let us today “Answer the Call” and surrender our little that God can make much and He gets the Glory!!! ~Blessings!
