Good morning, FBFs! We had a little bit better luck this morning giving Heidi her pills. I, once again, crushed them with the mortar and pestle and then added a little water. But this time I sucked it up into a syringe and The Dave held her down and pried her mouth open and I squirted it in her mouth. Now, no, she did not like that and sprayed about half of it out of her mouth. The unfortunate thing is that The Dave was all dressed for court in his suit that I had just retrieved from the cleaners and she barfed it all over his nice suit jacket. But we got him cleaned up and all is well. Tonight, I will do the same thing but add a little less water and stick it further down her throat, if I can. But if someone had heard us, they wouldve sworn we were abusing the poor baby. Screaming that high-pitched scream like an injured animal hurt my sensitive ears. When it was over and The Dave let her go, she jumped and ran as fast as she could out the doggie door and proceeded to DOO-DOO on the porch, JUST TO SHOW ME her disdain and disgust for what had just happened. We are making progress over here. Today is Monday. Laundry and errand day. I hope you all have a happy and healthy day! Put a smile on your face and be an inspiration to those around you. Try not to grouse and complain. Theres always someone who is worse off than you! Check on the elderly and infirm! Be kind to animals! Make the world a kinder place for those around you!
