Good morning, For a Major Gas Project, in construction phase, I am looking for a Welding inspector. The main missions will be: -raise request for inspection (RFI’s) for specific jobs inspection -review and implementation of instruments’ certificate validity -witness welding procedure qualification test (WPQT) and Welders qualification test (WQT) -review and prepare daily weld production reports, daily joint fit-up, weekly welders’ performance report -request, coordinate and witness Non destructive Testing (NDT) like Radiographic Test (RT), Magnetic Particle Test (MPI), Penetrant Test (PT), Ultrasonic Test (UT). -witness and conduct pressure leakage test for valves, wellhead, and flow lines include tie-in. -preparation of As-built Package. Skills and experience: -certified welding inspector with CSWIP or AWS -minimum 5 years experience and college graduate -work as QA/QC Welding and Mechanical Inspections -work based on International Standards like ASME, API, ANSI, ASTM, ACI, BSEN. -preparation of Quality Monthly Report (QMR) as per Schedule Q. Review contract package, Scope of Work, material take-off list. Preparation of weld maps, dimensional checks, hydrotest plan. Preparing QA/QC documents before the start of each project. Reviewing and preparing the Weekly Status Reports for each Project. -very good English is required Conditions: -Mission ONSHORE -All logistics provided “accommodation, travels, visas” -Rotation status in single. -Location : South Korea / France (it could be both) -Start date: ASAP* -Rotation: 12 weeks ON / 2 weeks OFF -Site weekly schedule: 5 to 6 days a week based on workload -Duration: 6 months negotiable Project: Moored far out at sea, some 200 kilometres from the nearest land, the FLNG facility will produce gas from offshore fields and liquefy it onboard by cooling. The FLNG facility will be the largest floating offshore facility in the world, with 488 meters from bow to stern.
