Good morning, For the western half of the United Kingdom, - TopicsExpress

Good morning, For the western half of the United Kingdom, conditions will start to gradually improve after a cloudy start to the morning, plenty of sunny spells will break through but variable clouds will remain throughout the day, there will be a risk of a shower for some areas in the west, chiefly parts of northern England and western Scotland but they will be brief showers and there won’t be many of them about. NI will also see a similar pattern of sunny spells with a risk of one or two showers. For the eastern half of the United Kingdom, it’s quite a grey and damp start with plenty of showers around. Conditions won’t really improve much during the day with more showers due as a frontal system continues to track eastwards, this front may trigger off one or two isolated thundery showers for parts of East Anglia and the South East of England later on this afternoon. Drier and brighter conditions will gradually move in from the west, so central areas of England and Scotland will see an improved picture this evening, eastern coasts of England and Scotland will hang on to the showery activity well into the evening and night. Temperatures generally for the western half of the UK will be between 14°c – 18°c so a much fresher feel here. For the Eastern half, we hang to the muggy conditions with temperatures ranging between 18°c – 21°c. Overnight conditions will remain dry for much of the UK with only the eastern coast of Scotland susceptible to a shower now and again. For tomorrow rain will start to move in from the west affecting NI to start with and gradually moving into western parts of the UK for the afternoon/evening, eastern areas remaining dry with sunny spells but clouding over during the afternoon. Have a great day!!! Stuart.
