Good morning, I hope everyone had a safe New Years. God is starting todays devotional with a promise Jerimiah 29v11 where it speaks about the promise of Gods plans for us plans to prosper you to give you a hope and a future... My people is time that we totally surrender to God whole heartedly, we have a bad tendency of trusting God only for the little things. We limit our God sometimes forgetting that He is all Mighty and Powerful theres Nothing Impossible for Him. We need to start being people of greater Faith, and be honest if youre lacking faith dont feel bad or ashamed. Just be honest with God about how you feel, is not like he doesnt already know and that you need him to increase your faith. Remember my good friends the word says you have not because you ask not. Now some people take that verse out of context and somehow think God is suppose to be their personal genie. I see this all the time people know deep inside they are in need of God start going to church and praying for wealth, houses, cars positions etc. Then they get upset and frustrated because supposeably God is not answering their prayers. Then they say Im going to church praying to God and he is not listening to me and they give up and go back to the world. Some people dont have a clue that your supposed to come to God humble in repentance of your old ways willing to be teachable. Asking God in prayers to help you to grow, to understand ask yes but for spiritual wisdom and spiritual discernment. Not to be rich and problem free. God gives us what we need not what we want... And Im so thankful for that too many people want to grow but dont want to go through the purifying process. Im sorry to tell you but in order to grow you must go through the process of being purified. Do you think that when Jesus going to the cross that it wasnt painful??? Yes it was it was horrific so why do you think you that youre suppose to get things when you want it and how you want it, it doesnt work that way.., its in Gods perfect timing we ALL must go through a purification process and its suppose to hurt. If it didnt hurt it wouldnt be called a sacrifice. I hope you understand that God loves you and wants to transform you but are you willing to allow him to make the necessary changes in YOU? Think about that God is able but are you willing to make the sacrifice... Love you guys please share with others
