Good morning! I wanted to let you know about a great change that I have decided to make in my life. Today will be my last official day on WCCO This Morning (although you will be seeing me back on the air, filling in, on Labor Day, on Tuesday, and from time to time after that). After 6 years of trying to convince myself that I am a morning person, its become clear that I am not, and that my body works better at 3pm than at 3am. There are few things more important to me than my health and my family and so I made the decision several months ago to step aside, and to take care of myself. Im so grateful to WCCO-TV | CBS Minnesota for their willingness to find a different role for me here, and so beginning this Saturday I will be the meteorologist and co-anchor of WCCO Saturday Morning with my TV sister Natalie Nyhus! Mikes Mix will be moving with me, and Natalie will take over Best of Minnesota. I will also be working alongside Esme Murphy on the Sunday morning newscasts, and appearing occasionally during the weekday newscasts. This is seriously exciting, guys! I hope youll welcome Matt Brickman and Kim Johnson to the weekday edition of WCCO This Morning; be nice to them! And... Ill see you AFTER DARK sometimes! Woooaaaah! :)
