Good morning! Its going to be a GREAT day! Expectations play a powerful role in performance. We all have been told by someone, Be careful, the police are really out there today! Think on this...what do you do if you think theres a police officer lurking in the shadows ready to pounce on you, ticket book in hand? We slow down, act innocent, and as soon as he is out of sight, we go back to breaking the rules. Why? We, as humans, have an amazing ability to rationalize away our transgressions...even if we are clearly doing wrong. Many people feel that the system, the company, or a person is out to get them. Point to ponder: Imagine what your teams performance would look like if they thought you were trying to catch them doing something right. Furthermore, what would performance look like if everyone was expected to bring the Boom!!!!
