Good morning! Ive started reading the book and I must say that it is providing valuable insight thus far. Ive written and self-published two devotionals and just finished my first fiction book. As I write, I have sort of this internal war going on about whether or not what Im writing is actually flowing or if it fits because its a lot different than writing devotionals. I try not to worry about it though and just get everything on paper while its fresh on my mind. Glad that Im not the only writer who have these issues. My head actually started spinning at the amount of edits that need to (or should) be done. When we see great books, we never think about everything that it took to make the finished product. It is good to know the amount of hard work that is needed to become a bestselling author and/or being picked up by a traditional publishing company. Thanks to each of you for sharing your knowledge and your story. I will definitely recommend to a friend who is writing her first book.
