Good morning Market Basket Shoppers (in the tone of the man who does the over head sales and such as we are shopping -- I miss that) Well today is Monday - Employees are working - Customers are boycotting - the news is spinning - but our voices are being heard - Good news lets concentrate on the Good not the bad - more Good will happen that way - -We are hitting the stores hard - Hooksett NH - was reporting $59,000 in sales last week - that is a $1,000,000 store. - In MA - EBT/SNAP started distribution on the 1st - had lots of Market Basket pictures - still showing the stores hurting - (Tomorrow is EBT/SNAP distribution in NH - we do it in one fell swoop - It is the busiest shopping day of the month for grocery stores in NH) - Artie T - came out and made his statement yesterday to the BOD and his cousin - that he is basically ready to come back to work with is full mgmt team and fix the problem ASD and CEOs are saying he caused- the BOD didnt come back with an immediate NO - but they are talking to people - and I feel that we are on the right track - but what did come out of that news story - was the BOD still has the offer or offers from Artie T - it sounds like they are still talking - stinks - but with Artie S on the BOD - we have to expect it to be rough - -Lets stay positive - Please continue to pray if you are religious in anyway for a positive and good out come. If you are not religious please keep positive thoughts coming - it is proven the more positive you think the better things will get. I like the idea of doing an old fashioned letter writing campaign - What I am wondering - is there anyone who is really good at writing a solid email that is not insulting, that is profressional, yet demanding, and shows we are not going to be shopping or backing down anytime soon. (I looked and Thomas Jefferson is not available at this time - I know I was disappointed as well to find out he is dead!! The nerve - (Joking people - ya know he did write the Declaration Of Independence :) ) I will be again working on different emails going out to news outlets to get them to interview customers - and get out to the stores - It would be really great if we can get on a National News Station tomorrow - if only they record us - I am going to be pushing for that big time today - If there is anything I can do please feel free to ask :) Any suggestions again post them as a main post - lets work as a team - a group - and most of all as ONE VOICE FOR THE MARKET BASKET BOYCOTT - last but not least - I miss my Chicken -
