Good morning (Not something I say often). Yesterday I chose happiness over money and the decision has kept me up all night. I was terrified I had made a terrible choice, but I know I did it for the right reasons. Instead of laying in bed staring at my ceiling over thinking my situation I decided to go in to Central London to get some fresh air in hope of getting some perspective, and I did. As I sat and watched people heading to work, home or other various destinations I realised although it may seem small the world is so big. Its something so simple that we forget and get so caught up in ourselves we miss the bigger picture. There are so many new opportunities & people out there I can never get bored or stuck. Life is way too short to slave away in a supermarket that thinks they have some level of power over you because they pay you to be treated like shit. Im heading towards a career that I actually give a shit about and I no longer have any intention of wasting my time on a job that makes me unhappy just for the sake of a few extra numbers in my bank account. On a unrelated note, if anyone requires a volunteer to help on shoots (of any kind & any size) Ive suddenly ended up with a lot more free time (how bizarre), so I may as well make good use of it.
