Good morning Theres been a few showers around already this morning for the north east of Britain and around N Ireland, north west England and northwest Scotland. Many other areas started the day with blue skies and sun, but thats not stopped it from feeling quite fresh, but out of the northwesterly/westerly wind, its not too bad in the sunshine. The showers will continue off and on through the day, especially over Wales, northern Scotland, north east England and later on into the midlands and west country. Therell be a bit more cloud around too and a patchy light shower or two could pop up anywhere, but there will still be decent bright spells. Temperatures are still quite cool - between 13 and 19c from the north to the south. Tonight the showers will most ease and we could see temperatures down to a chilly 3 or 4c in rural spots around the south of Scotland and the Borders. Tomorrow looks similar to today, scattered showers and bright spells, maybe a touch warmer, but not a lot. Later on rain arrives over north western Scotland and this will slowly edge south toward the end of the week. Ian
