Good morning Tip# 13. Success isnt for the faint at heart!! Yea we all say we want to be successful but are we willing to do what it takes to succeed. Ask yourself this... are you willing to keep pushing when none of the people you want to believe in you do? Are you willing to keep pushing when the biz partner that called you family who you thought you could trust was lying to you about who they were and what they could do and you know they are playing with your money but you have to exit right to keep all you worked for intact? Can you still remain focused and drive 750 miles racing to your mothers bedside when the doc said get here she is not coming out and is 75% percent brain dead? Oh and off of 2 hrs sleep and you realize you only got to know her 34 yrs? Then you get a call a year and a couple months later and your dad is dead and nobody knows how and you have to go across country and come up with a means to bury him because he had no life insurance? Could you keep pushing if you had an awful car accident and had to fight for your life the day before your 33rd birthday. Also just when you got going in the new music biz and were helping a new artist from across the country you had to plan the biggest showcase ever in your area register artist meet executives plan flight earn money for the show and not take the morephine pills and oxycodone you desperately need for pain? Could you keep going having back surgery a year later just when you healed from the other surgery due to an accident on a truck? Could you believe in an artist so deeply that you wanted them to succeed more than them because they asked you to believe in them and put all of your money into them for the 3 months they were on your label because they had no fanbase and you knew to help them you had to give it all you could and then they look at you from others eyes instead of the eyes that were true theirs, and then go on an all out massacre of you and your biz name and even though your rep superceded anything they said and no harm came to you? Could you regroup fly across country going to new York when it looked like you were going to not get anything out of a show you invested in because your main artist didnt go which meant you had to stop things and get there? Could you loose your money in the previous artist let them out their contract and then have to regroup and spend even more 10 times more on another artist and be ok with it? Could you feel like you were loosing your daughter in a battle so horrific it would cost her everything in death and still stay sain? Yes you can you say your life has been hard and you had had to endure a lot but do you know someone that could endure all this in a 2 yr cycle with the exception of the car accident . Yes 24 months . I do I know someone Me!! So when you come with excuses as to no studio time or not wanting to grind to get your music or other investment done I say I dont want to hear it now you know why. This is what winners do they keep pushing fighting and winning. Although I know this is as book to read and most wont I pray that whomever The Most High wanted to see this does since he had me type all this and that it will keep you encouraged and oh yes I went through this while driving a truck across country getting the money to chase my dreams. My life has many more tragedies in it but I will save that for my movie. Take This From THIS Post . If you dont believe in and fight for you nobody will, preserver pray and forget the haters and you will find true success. All this while rasping 5 kids from the road and yes I have custody of them and we all sacrificed for this moment we are at now. Shalom.
