Good morning! Today I am posting a song that we will be singing: Make Me a Channel of Your Peace. Our scripture is John 14, focusing more on the latter half, instead of the better known first half (thats where in my Fathers house there are many mansions and I am the way, the truth and the life appear in scripture). The latter half has Jesus promising not to leave his disciples orphaned and giving them his peace. [Side note: that is one scriptural basis for when we pass the peace.} We also have Illinois College Chamber Chorus coming to worship with us. They will sing 3 numbers, one gospel and two contemporary. One of the graduating seniors is going to play the organ (he plays beautifully! he plays organ for Faith Lutheran - he is a true talent).
