Good morning~!! Today is dark, overcast..Yet even as I was still in bed the weather radio goes off..ONE MORE TIME~! Ole Glory is flying,at attention..Kiddies are feed, and I have my grandpaw coffee cup in hand.. Reflection time.. I recall, as a young boy, my sweet mother, grandmother both, going to great pain to insure each meal had each of the daily meal requirements from the food chart . Meat, bread, veggies, milk..It was almost always a single serving..Rarely was their more than once, except for bread, potato, or veggies. Mostly you just ate what was served and all of that~ Always at the dinner table, how many times I set the table before dinner..How many of us teach our children value of that ritual today?? the giving of thanks for the meal before us, to give thanks especially for those who prepared that meal?? How sad, for the gathering of the family unit was our chance to visit with each other..Likewise, I miss those Ozzie and Harriet type of programing..Why have we allowed our values for the family unit, to slip so low as that of an dysfunctional President..Someone who, I suspect had no family values to relate to, who knows how much he was deprived of..and in some perverted way is forcing that awareness upon us and our family..Well, its not gonna work..I for one, will not stand for that Black Ghetto mentality any further..Our great,beautiful country deserves better~!! How say you?? Have you had enough of this??
