A surface trough extends from near Yeppoon through central inland Queensland, and is expected to move slowly northwards. A firm ridge has developed along the southern Queensland coast, to the south of the trough. A more stable upper pattern should become established over southern Queensland during Sunday, before a new series of upper troughs begins to affect the state during the middle and later parts of next week. –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––--------------------- Todays official forecast for the Herbert and Lower Burdekin and surrounds: Partly cloudy.
