Good morning Watch and Act - Minnimbah - A bush fire is burning in the Murraguldrie State Forest area, between Humula and Little Billabong. The fire is currently 7000 hectares in size and is not contained.Crews have worked overnight to protect properties and establish control lines to the North on Shockeroo Road, East on Carabost Road, and South from Little Billabong to Volkins Creek Road. The fire is currently burning in a southerly direction through pine plantation and native forest and is burning quickly and erratically. Some backburning has been conducted with more continuing through Sunday to deepen control lines. There are a number of isolated rural properties that remain under threat in the Humula, Carabost and Little Billabong areas. There are unconfirmed reports of properties being destroyed by the fire. Little Billabong and Tumbarumba-Wagga Roads remain closed check the NSW RFS website
