Good morning... Wednesday will be a transition day, and will - TopicsExpress

Good morning... Wednesday will be a transition day, and will feature a cold front moving through the area from NW to SE, followed by a secondary cold front right on its heels which will move through tonight, and we left an isolated thunderstorm in the forecast today along both boundaries. The severe threat is much lower than what we experienced yesterday... which was incredible in terms of coverage of wind damage reports. If you missed it, check out our previous post on this page of storm damage reports from last night as reported to the National Weather Service... over 400 reports yesterday - and this is why we give advanced warning! High pressure takes over Thursday through at least the first part of the weekend, and that means temperatures return to near seasonal averages/normals with lower humidity. We have the forecasts for your local area which now takes you through Monday of next week, including the daily forecast video which does the same.... and a look at the long range for the rest of July linked below with how a strong typhoon hitting Japan will affect our weather here for the next week. Have a great Wednesday!
