Good morning. Well the cutlass has been more work than I imagined. Overheating issues, no working gauges at all. 3 inch tall spacer under carb was way to much. Killed signal to the carb. 9 volt source to a 12 volt choke. Stripped thermostat housing hole, dipstick for trans too long, and ride height killed the exhaust flange. Put a quadrajet on it. Fixed the carb problem. Put ground from aluminum mount to a steel mount on engine. Adjusted timing. Still need to drill and tap intake for the thermostat housing. So much to do yet. Ehh. Park it for now. Have funner fish steaks to fry. Have a super day everyone.
