Good morning all. Heres the update....Peggys shin bone is broken in 8 places right at the top just under the knee cap. She now has a piece of metal, screws, and other stuff holding her together. While they were fishing around they fixed the meniscus which she tore over a year ago. Were figuring out how to move down stairs to live for awhile. Ms. Peg wont be walking unaided for about 8 weeks. Shes already warned me that the grumpieness factor may escalate....hmmm. Ill discuss sedation with the doctor if it gets out of hand. I read all of the responses to her last night. Thanks to everyone who sent a message. You are a wonderful support for her and me. They will start the rehab process today....no rest for the wicked she said. More later, off to Reno to see her.
