Good morning all my beautiful friends!! I hope you are all well and doing something you live today. .. Ok.. so im gonna try this again. Im sorry if it gets confusing, but if ya know me, ya know I tend to babble and not make sense anyways...lol As of yesterday, we now have 2 plans... until a week from this coming Wednesday we are going with plan a.. which is... br cause the cancer is semi contained to my neck, chest cavity and right lung... they have decided that I am a candidate for radiation... and also chemotherapy. So they said they are gonna hit me hard with radiation. One round only which is 5 times a week for 6 weeks.. also they know its gonna be really hard on me, so they are requiring that I get a feeding tube put in place before they do radiation .. then during that same 6 weeks I will also be doing chemotherapy, which during radiation sounds like 1day a week for that 6 weeks. And in order to do that, I need to get a port in my chest. After the radiation, then I think I will have 2-3weeks and then we do a second round of chemotherapy but at much higher doses and more times a week becauae there will be no radiation at that point. Sooooo next week on wednesday I have a day surgery to put in my feeding tube. . On thurday I have another day surgery to put in the port (chest tube) On friday I meet with the radiation doctor to set up my schedule for radiation which will be started probably the following Monday 7/28 then a few more appts in between but then a week from Wednesday 7/30 I start chemo So there is plan a.... I hope it made sense.. plan b... well, we are waiting on a lab report to see if any of my cancer cells mutate to a specific thing.. we will know by next wednesday or thursday..if it does mutate, then plan a is out the window and I do targeted therapy which were pretty sure is chemotherapy in pill form that attacks just the cancer cells and not me with it.. this is the better choice,but the odds are very small that this will be an option... but we do what we gotta do to eradicate this crap from my body... So..its GO TIME!!!! :)♡ The boys are doing really good, we are keeping them in informed and helping. It seems to help them... my sister d heris has sat with my boys when there are appts darren needs to be in with me. darren is being amazing. He has only worked about 3days since this started because he is at my side for every appointment, scan, xray, procedure, and if not at my side, he is with our boys.. now that we are getting a schedule, we thought darren could work more, but its the opposite... i wouldnt want it any other way, he is my rock. I have also been blessed with so many good people..and with all the happy thoughts and prayers, I have faith somehow this will all work out... I know its gonna be a tough battle and honestly im a little scared. .but I have much faith that I will win this battle.. especially with all the beautiful, wonderful people that are part of this with me!!!
