Good morning and happy Friday to everyone! So yesterday was a day packed full of fun for Katie and Hailey! We got home yesterday afternoon and both the girls passed out! So this cycle of chemo is a process to say the least....I think I mentioned this before but if I havent then now you know! We have to go to the clinic today to pick up more supplies and thicker needles (yes needles) for my magic to happen with one of her gel tablets to get the medicine out of the tablet and onto the yogurt! Did I mention this cycle is a process.....(sigh)😣 Not to much going on with us today, just hanging out and trying to stay in doors as much as possible! This version of the flu going around scares me to death! Everyone I know is shocked that Katie or Hailey hasnt gotten it yet! I pray that doesnt happen!!🙏 I try very hard to keep Katie in a bubble per say to make sure she doesnt get sick! We literally go to the same three places Publix, Walmart, Target, and maybe some other stores if need be! I try to stay out of very small, closed confined spaces with lots of people...at least until flu season is over.....so that means no daycare and no church (which makes me sad but I cant risk her being in the small room with all the other kids and its not fair to her to try big church been there, tried that, when all she wants to do is make noise😊) I have a special request for all our prayer warriors...our good friend Mary Elizabeth (Prayers for Mary Elizabeth) who is at St. Judes took a turn for the worse Thursday and got moved to the PICU and is now having to intubated. Please pray for a quick recovery and that her body heals. She has had a fever on and off and has two different infections that doctors are unsure of where they are coming from. I pray for not only ME (Mary Elizabeth) but also for her parents, to give them strength and peace of mind. Thank you again for all you love, support, and continued prayers. We love you all🙏💜
