Good morning...another day here. Pretty much the same stuff happening for me today with the exception of my 2 year check up for my gastric bypass. Two years ago I weighed about 280 lbs...actually more but I cannot remember the exact number anymore. Now, I am 100 lbs lighter and healthier. Got a lot on my mind this morning but will not got into it all in a face book status...been thinking that some day...when my hands will no longer crochet and craft....that I might write a book on my life. Some people may not like what will be said...and we all have our own truths...but there are times when my tongue starts to hurt from biting it so much. Many years have passed where I have not said certain things either in defense of myself or because much that has happened is difficult to talk about...let certain people talk their talk which in turn made others believe things that may or may not have been truth. I had my reasons...still do have reasons but someday, maybe my own truths will come out in regards to certain time frames in my life where I may not have been the best I could be (or so it appeared)...We all have a past...some worse or some better than others. A quote I read quite some time ago...I do not know the author but it goes something like this: The past is gone, we cannot get it back. The future may never come. The present is all we have and it is a gift. I, personally, have made many mistakes in my past...I have also done many good things. I cannot change those mistakes as much as I would like to. I do not know what tomorrow may hold...we may not even have tomorrow. All I know is that today...and for today only...I can be the best person I can be...using my past experiences to hope for a better tomorrow should it come. Take care all and love the ones you love...love the others too even if you dont necessarily like them :)
