Good morning brethren. Good morning my year. Good morning my marriage . Good morning my miracle. Good morning my career. Good morning my break through. Good morning my Lord. Good morning Holy Spirit. Blessed be the name of the LORD Jesus. James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. Like we said in yesterdays teaching Hannah went through this kind of pain for years and it looked like there was no solution to it. It looked like she was a reject to society yet she was a prayer warrior. Delay does not mean denial. To every level of increase there is a devil wanting to delay your miracle . Yours obedience shall bring forth the results. Lets read the book of Samuel. 1 Samuel 1:6-11. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. Despite the hard times that had befallen Hannah, she did turn away from God. Many at times when our things dont seem to progress we leave church thinking there is no answer. You look for another church or you completely stop going to church. It is not the church or the pastor that will grant your hearts desire but God who owns that church. Hannah made a vow while in deep agonising prayers in bitterness of her soul. Sometimes you have to arrrive at this point in your prayers where enough is enough. You face reality that this problem must go like it or not. It is a deep prayer of obedience that kills your witch. She reminded the Lord of her affliction, she requested the Lord to remember her, not to forget her. Ask the Lord precisely what you are looking for and when you have that, what will do to give glory and honour back to the Lord. This is what was in Hannahs prayers. She took her problem to the Lord in prayer. Your whole life must be committed to God and Him alone despite your afflictions. What do you do when your friends are showing off their achievements and you have nothing serve the pain. Hannah prayed and God answered. This year with your own eyes what the Lord has in store for you. Make room and allow God to do what may seem impossible. Good morning my miracle, good morning my Samuel. Have a blessed day.
