Good morning everybody, things are coming more into focus for this - TopicsExpress

Good morning everybody, things are coming more into focus for this weekend, as they only can when you are within 72 hours of a systems arrival. It appears currently that most of the lift in the atmosphere associated with this storm (which is where the bulk of the precip shield forms) is going to be to our east, meaning eastern MA, and the Cape and Islands, and Downeast Maine would get the heaviest precip. If this verifies, then we could see less rain/snow than originally thought. But if the track wobbles to the west more, we could see more widespread rain for a time, ending as a period of snow in places, especially higher elevation. The secondary low could redevelop anywhere from Mid-Atlantic coast to South Carolina coast, and then push north and east from there. So snow is not off the table, but is less likely for the time being. A nice couple of days today and tomorrow, with partly sunny skies and highs in the 50s. Cold and windy this weekend, especially Sunday and Sunday night. Remember to Fall Back Saturday night and turn your clocks back an hour.
