Powerful because gospel music speaks of God and therefore a strong inspirational tool for the body and mind to conquer fears and remove obstacles. 4. Gospel music helps to relieve stress, depression, hopelessness and anger for it soothes the soul. 5. Inspirational lyrics along with soothing melodies motivate the spirit 6. Lifts up a discouraged heart and strengthens faith. 7. Helps the body relax so that one can enjoy the moment and forget about the days anxieties. 8. In particular, listening to gospel music is associated with a decrease in anxiety about death as it reminds of eternal life with the creator. Can you think of additional benefits.
