Weather Situation A high pressure system [1032 hPa] in the Tasman Sea extends a ridge of high pressure along Queenslands east coast. A new high in the Great Australian Bight will strengthen during the remainder of this week, reinforcing the ridge. A surface trough over southeastern Queensland will shift offshore during Wednesday morning. Forecast for the rest of Wednesday Early morning fog areas in the east. Isolated showers about the east coast and adjacent eastern interior, most likely about the Central Coast and North Tropical Coast. Fine and mostly sunny over the remainder with early frost patches about the Granite Belt. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds, tending fresh to strong about the coast in the far north. Above average temperatures through the east and interior.
