Good morning everyone, here is your state forecast for the 10th of November, 2013, courtesy of the BOM. ~ Gerry ================================= Weather Situation ---------------------- A high in the Tasman Sea extends a weak ridge along Queenslands east coast, whilst a surface trough stretches from the north west of the state to the south east interior. The surface trough will remain slow moving over the next few days. A significant upper trough will strengthen over southeast Australia during Sunday and will extend slowly eastwards across the southern interior of Queensland during next week. Forecast for the rest of Sunday ------------------------------------- Isolated to scattered showers and thunderbumpers in a band from the north west of the state to the south east of the state with more widespread and possibly severe storms over the states south east. Fine and mostly sunny over the north east tropics with some isolated showers and thunderbumpers about the west Peninsula coast. Fine and mostly sunny in the far south west in the moderate to fresh southerly winds. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds through the east of the state. Fire Danger - Severe in the northwest district, and high to very high elsewhere. ========================================
