Good morning everyone, on behalf of Wally and the rest of my family wed like to thank everyone for the continuos support weve received from family, friends, and his many many present/former Winema Hotshot Brothers and Sisters. By now many have heard or seen the news release thats been going around, he is doing well considering the circumstances. Hes pretty banged up but we all know deep down this is the toughest man we know and he will get better its just going to take time. We are at Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Boise, ID. If you wish to send cards or anything of that nature feel free to do so either to the hospital address itself or to the Klamath Ranger District to be picked up later. I personally would like to thank my fellow crew members who stayed calm, acted quickly, and helped get him out as quickly as we did. I am so proud to be a part of this crew and I know Wally is too! Thank you is also in order to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation who are continuing to support us throughout the duration of our time here. Thank you again everybody and keep the prayers and good thoughts coming.
