Weather Situation A high over Victoria will enter the Tasman Sea today, reinforcing the ridge along the east Queensland coast. A surface trough over the eastern interior of the state will shift slowly west during the next couple of days. A coastal trough will move north along the Capricornia coast today. An upper level trough will also shift east over central districts today before contracting into the Coral Sea on Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of Tuesday Showers and possible storms about the far eastern tropics and northwest, with more isolated activity over the northern and central interior. Fine over the southern districts except for the slight chance of a shower about the southern interior and far southeast.
