Good morning face bookians, the following story is true, from time to time I have deams of my past childhood, as I am red green color blind I only dream in black and white, but I do enjoy 2010 vision and have amazing powers of obsevation,,,,,,,,,,, when I was a young tyke ,12 years old, I sold newspapers out front of gate # 4 of charlestown navy yard ,, my paper stand consited of 4 plastic milk cases, 3 held the boston globe, the record american and the herald traverer, thev4th had a cigar box in wich the guys threw there money in for the papers, at 3 50 pm the first whistle blew, that wascthe first rush, I swear, 10,000 people came running out the gate charging down on my paper stand, the pupose of the cigar box was forvthe guys and gals to throw there money in ,, exact change, I was there to make change butvway to many people to serve all at one time, on this one particular day the uss enterprize arircraft carrier was in I know because I had a grand eye view of the stern with enterprize wrtten on it, during the rush there loan sharks that always hung around, they use to roll the old type window weights into news papers, when they sawca guy thatvcould not afford to pay, they would walk into the crowd, window weights wrapped up in news papers, crack the poor guy on the knees,, I remember this day because he fell over my news stand, splattered my news papers everywhere, after the rush was over, and inwas picking up the mess inwas in the bar accross the street, picking up my nickels, and 2 guys came over to to the table, they said sorry kid,, stuffed 2 20 dollar bills in my pocked bought me cupckes and soda, and told me not to say anything to the mps military police, ,,,,, and yes Nicole, paula abdule is really your mother,,,
