Good morning family - asking you to prayerfully consider the state of our country, communities and world. So much has occurred over the last couple of weeks that ones heart could grow weary and discouraged. We continue to fight racial profiling and the shooting and killing of our unarmed black males; there is violence and sickness in our own neighborhoods as our babies are caught in the crossfire of gun violence; continued unrest in the Middle East - Israel . Gaza- Syria - Iraq -turkey - Oh yeah and where are our girls in Africa. Where is Ranicia Rudd and so many others that have been abducted without a trace? BUT we serve a God who can comfort us in our despair and who can vindicate the innocent. I have to believe that God sees it all and is still in control. God has a plan and I believe part of that plan is for the body of Christ - the church - to come together and not only pray- but work in whatever way we can to bring awareness to sin, injustice and discrimination in our communities and the world.- just as Jesus did ! Our faith without works to back it up - is dead ! (James 2:14-26) Dear God give us the wherewithal to be the church and just not have church! In Jesus name! Pastor London
