Good morning folks… It’s a frosty start to the day for us, but if you’re travelling to the southern part of the province, check with your local weather report, as many areas of S. Alberta are under a heavy fog advisory. The advisory states that many areas in the south will experience ZERO visibility and near zero visibility. Please plan your trip accordingly. So far so good on both Hwy 63 and Hwy 881 and there are no new incidents to report. 511 shows several sections of Hwy 63 with compact and slippery sections north of Mariana Lake, but fairly clear sailing south of there, but there will be the odd icy patch to be mindful of. Over on Hwy 881, there will be some slippery sections due to the cold temps, but other than that, 881 is in fair winter driving condition. The super loads will be rolling north at sun up and as always, please pass them with care. Please also remember to slow down in the construction zones folks and watch for any flagging personnel out on the road. That’s all for this morning folks, I’ll update if and when needed. Stay safe, drive to the conditions and remember… Someone is expecting you home tonight KCCO highway63roadreport
