Good morning folks...We received a great number of likes on our post yesterday concerning our cooperative observer 15 year length of service award...Thanks very much!! :) Here is a link to answer some questions on what is the cooperative program in the NWS. At the present time we have approximately 69 sites across New Jersey, Delaware, Eastern Maryland and Eastern PA...These are dedicated folks that volunteer each day and take a reading of the high and low temperatures and rainfall/snowfall that had occurred at their location and enter the data into a database.
