Good morning, friends. Today is September 1, 2013. “We can be tired, weary and emotionally distraught, but after spending time alone with God, we find that He injects into our bodies energy, power and strength.” Charles Stanley I would like to send out warm congratulations to my good friend, Kyle, who became a grandmother for the third time yesterday. The arrival of Natalie Jane is such a blessing – a healthy bouncing baby girl has graced this earth. Congratulations to the Floit family on your new arrival. My heartfelt thank you goes out to the ladies of Downtown Hair Studio and my dear friend Kathy Fenner for setting up a Pancreatic Cancer fundraising table at the Lowell Sidewalk Sale yesterday. Dodging raindrops must have made it a bit of a challenge, but these fine ladies didn’t let the weather dampen their determination. Thank you so very much, my friends. My journal is short, for my day yesterday was most uneventful. I did nothing other than rest and sleep most of the day. My post-chemo Saturday brought physical limitations that I surrendered to. My body talked, and I listened. Sleep.. rest.. sleep. Wishing you a blessed Sunday on this holiday weekend. Enjoy the comraderie of friends and family on this September 1. Turning the page on the calendar is a necessity today.. do so with hope for a joyous month. Smell a rose, love to all.
