Good morning from Bill Hall: Mid 30s with a little mist and fog - TopicsExpress

Good morning from Bill Hall: Mid 30s with a little mist and fog in NE Ohio this morning, and thats the basic outlook for rest of the day. Maybe a flurry this morning and maybe some sun this afternoon, but generally boring late fall weather. The music Ill be sharing will be anything but boring, with the something brand new from Counting Crows, Marcus Mumford singing a long lost Dylan tune from the new Basement Tapes album, some new Imagine Dragons plus the latest from Beck, Big Data, The Hold Steady, OK GO, Bastille and many others. Well also enjoy tracks from the library from R.E.M., Lenny Kravitz, David Gray, Men At Work, Nik Kershaw, The Moody Blues, The Wallflowers, plus some great Christmas music from The Ohio City Singers (Don Dixon, Chris Allen et. al.), Guster, Brian Setzer and The Roches. Jim Chenot will take us front row center to hear Carl Perkins bop the blues, and Akrons Ambassador of Peace, Zach will lead the Bright Lights on their great song Dream Singer in our Local Music Spotlight. Heres a great shot of Zach and Charlie Trenta when they played a special show in The Gothic Building back in 2011, and one of Zach and me when he and Vicki Freidhof came over for dinner a few years ago. (The purple bracelet came from one of Zachs many charitable efforts, in this case An Evening For Chuck, a fund-raiser to battle pancreatic cancer, which took Zachs dad, far too young.) We love you, Zach, and may your selfless ways and indomitable spirit always be infectious!
