Good morning good people of Nigeria. I just got some wake-up calls from friends asking if I have heard about the Ebola Virus moving around in the air? I said NO He advised my family and I to take our bath with water mixed with salt and as well drink from it to protect against the Ebola airborne disease. The second caller says that a deadly chemical has been shot into our air space and to prevent its infections, your family should bath with warm water mixed with salt and as well drink from. Confused!! Now I ask; when did salt become a substance used for the prevention of airborne diseases? when did it start preventing Ebola virus? At first, it was bitter kola and kolanut and the traders made huge sales, and now its salt. Please can someone say something, because as I speak, more broadcast messages are coming in different write-ups about this same claim... NB: Ebola virus can also be transmitted through aerosol (aerosol - a colloidal suspension of particles dispersed in air or gas), oral or conjunctival exposure to virus-laden droplets secreted or excreted from a full blown infected person in an enclosed environment. It is not moving airborne from city to city looking for people to infect as some Nigerians have over-exaggerated it. Please if you have a different or severe info from this on this case, lets share it together for clarity purposes... May God help us...Thanks
