Good morning, hope everyone has a great weekend planned. Man am I worn out, kids have been good, but boy oh boy were they a handful yesterday. Loud & active was their plan for the day, and I had a hard time keeping up…lol Sharon even noticed I looked tired, not much sleep the last few days. Between the prostrate curse, and old memories I’m up all the time…lol Did get some sleep though so it’s all good. Had a great dinner, meatloaf, corn on the cob and cucumber salad. Not much left… (bummer) “Mello Yellow” was the hit of the day… along with “Lollipop” and “They Do Run Run” hope I got that right. I’m afraid the boys won’t be current on their music when they go back to school…. Have a few errands to run today with Sharon, I’m afraid she won’t let me go if I don’t shave…lol Talked to a few people, who think I need to let go of the past. I wonder why they think that. I need the past to remind me of where I’ve been and where I need to go. Oh sure there’s heart ache, and disappointment, but there is so many more cherished memories that I need to remind me, I have a good life with Family & my Friends. Besides I learn so much from others, things that have happened to you, good & bad help me appreciate what I’ve been given. Just like the movie “it’s a wonderful life” somewhere, somehow we all touch each others life. My heart grows everyday with a place for everyone of you, and thank God there’s more room…lol I am what I am (Popeye?) today because of you & my past and you & yours. We can’t give up and let the darkness win, it’s a “Moral Imperative” that we try. Never be ashamed or to proud to ask for help, even if it’s just a shoulder to cry on or a friendly ear to bend. The power we have is love & compassion. When we help others, even those we don’t really feel deserve our attention, love grows and we become stronger. Okay enough bla bla….lol Sorry I get on the soap box sometimes. We just need each others love & caring now more than ever. Can you imagine having to sit and chat with me over coffee…? whoa! Rotfl….lol I truly love you all, and I pray for the best for you & your Families. Like nature, love will find a way! Have a great weekend!!! Hugs!!!
