Good morning me hearties . Beaming smiles and excitement greet you all this morning, as Im about to head out and offshore today, on Free Spirit. Recent stormy weather has kept us shore bound ,,, so its always with renewed excitement ... Thinking ... What wil we see and locate today ... Storms are always exciting, as it gives the sea a really good stir up releasing lots of nutrients . Thus creating renewed abundance for everything to feed on . So with the next three days, to be heading back out .. Im all a tremble with excitement ... :-) As I absolutely adore what I do :-) especially sharing it with you all :-) Below are some gorgeous photos from our recent wildlife cruises, just prior to the stormy weather coming in ... Photographs are from Stephanie B, Tilly H and Felicity F :-) Im delighted to say ,,, there is a lovely mixture too. As we did go back up and deep inside our vast, stunning and sheltered complex of waterways, within the Fal estuary. Joyfully locating and observing more beautiful Ospreys. Giving everyone some truly up close and personal views. For all to revel in and marvel at these majestic, large birds of prey . Offshore on our last trip out, we all had the pleasure of observing and interacting with three different cetacean species . With good numbers of Harbour Porpoise and Common Dolphins and to all of our delights and excitement .... Another Minke Whale ... !!! :-) WOW :-) Giving us now a grand total of some THIRTY FOUR sightings of these Devine little Whales .. Im forever hopeful there will be a few more yet to add to this Record breaking list. As the next few months , weather permitting, can be some off the very best . For a whole host of different cetacean species to pass through and feed, in the rich and sheltered waters of Falmouth Bay ... Choughs, Choughs , Choughs .. A whole series of gorgeous photographs have come in . Which Im truly thrilled and delighted to share with you all ... I am completely and utterly overjoyed, to have firstly located these two beautiful Choughs on our local coastline. However, to keep locating them and sharing them now with so many of you now .. Seeing their incredible acrobatic flights and to hear their fluting and distintive calls .... Well I for one, I have to say ,, has been in a little bit of Heaven :-) :-) :-) The photos below are from our SEVENTH interaction with these iconic and rare Cornish Birds ..
