Good morning my Facebook family and friends Definition of Atmosphere: the pervading tone or mood of a place, situation, or work of art. the hotel is famous for its friendly, welcoming atmosphere synonyms: ambience, air, mood, feel, feeling, character, tone, tenor, aura, quality, undercurrent, flavor; informal vibe the hotel has a relaxed atmosphere I feel that God is having me to ask this morning, “What kind of atmosphere are we creating?” (Part One) A positive atmosphere can make a more pleasant place for one to be in, a more effective, motivating place to be. It can also have a positive result on others. If we want people in our presence, we have to create the atmosphere for them to want to be in our presence. If we are at peace with ourselves, we create an atmosphere of peace. If we love ourselves, we create an atmosphere of love. If we like us, we create an atmosphere for others to like us. If we have respect for ourselves, we create an atmosphere of respectfulness. It is inevitable. Hmmm, creating that warm, inviting atmosphere. Yeah! Now, there are exceptions to any rule; some people are not going to treat you correctly, just because they are not going to. In those cases, just move on. We have to remember that our attitudes create an atmosphere for others. Why not let it be a positive, encouraging one? Prayer: Lord, teach us to be mindful of the atmospheres we create, with our actions and with our words. In Jesus’ Mighty Name we pray. Thank you Lord. Let’s consciously strive to create the correct atmosphere, and be blessed to know that we are.
